Client's Rights

Infinity Nursing upholds the fundamental human, civil, constitutional and statutory rights of its clients as no less than those of every other member of the society. We expressly uphold the following:

Rights Concerning Care and Treatment

Clients have the right to expect and receive respectful, appropriate treatment regardless of race, creed, sex, national origin, or source of payment. No client will be denied services on the basis of race, creed, sex, or national origin.

Clients have the right to expect reasonable safety insofar as the program practices are concerned. This right includes, but is not limited to, the right to be free from any kind of abuse, including mental, physical and sexual abuse.

Clients have the right to a written treatment plan prepared by staff and management with input from the client, guardian, and other treatment team members. The clients have the right to have the content and objectives of treatment plan explained to them and reviewed periodically, and the right to have input into any subsequent changes.

Clients have the right to care provided by qualified staff. Clients have the right to have any changes in staff discussed with them and to be told the reason for the change. Clients have the right to know and will be told the identity, title, and professional status and role of the staff assigned to work with them. Clients, or their legal guardians, may request a change in staff for any reason.

Clients or their authorized representative have the right of access to their case file,  unless it has been determined by an attending physician that such access could be contraindicated. The client may, under reasonable circumstances and with reasonable notice, have access to their case file for the purpose of inspection of its contents. Direct access shall always be supervised by management.

Clients have the right to participate in discharge and termination plans.

Client’s Right to Privacy

Except if required by court order, client records and information shall only be disclosed for the purpose of client treatment and only to those that are actively involved in providing the treatment or monitoring its quality.

Client’s Grievance Procedure

A Client that is dissatisfied with treatment received from staff of Infinity Nursing may submit a complaint by phone call or by letter to Infinity Nursing’s office.
